Concrete results in corporate sustainability, told by those who experienced them.
“We achieved ISO 14001 certification in six months. The EcoHub team guided us through every stage, from the initial diagnosis to the final audit. We reduced our waste by 22% in the first quarter.”
María Fernanda López
Sustainability Manager, Logística del Sur
“Measuring our carbon footprint seemed impossible with 12 plants. EcoHub implemented a real-time monitoring system. Today we have data per production line and have already reduced emissions by 15%.”
Carlos Méndez
Director of Operations, Grupo Alimentario del Plata
“We transformed 40% of our waste into inputs for other industries. The ecological hub design proposed by EcoHub allowed us to close the loop and save on final disposal costs.”

Clear answers about certifications, carbon footprint, and waste management in industrial parks.
The standard requires a documented environmental management system, assessment of significant environmental aspects, legal compliance, operational control, and continuous improvement. In an ecological hub, this includes emission monitoring plans, effluent management, and training programs for the staff of installed companies.
The GHG Protocol (Greenhouse Gas Protocol) is used, which classifies emissions into scopes 1, 2, and 3. For logistics, scope 3 (transportation and distribution) is usually the most relevant. Fuel data, kilometers traveled, and vehicle type are collected, and specific emission factors per country are applied.
Plastics, metals, paper, cardboard, glass, organic waste, used oils, and certain hazardous wastes such as solvents or batteries. The key is to identify material flows that can serve as input for another industry within the same park or in certified recycling chains.
It depends on the size and complexity of the park. A basic waste management and energy efficiency plan can be operational in 6 to 9 months. ISO 14001 certification usually requires between 12 and 18 months, including the diagnostic stage, system design, training, and internal audit.
Reduction of operational costs through energy efficiency and waste valorization, early compliance with local and international environmental regulations, improved corporate reputation, and access to tax incentives linked to sustainable practices. Additionally, it facilitates alignment with ESG criteria demanded by global investors.
